St Pats in Five Points is a family friendly festival. There are plenty of activities for the entire family throughout the day plus a Pot O’Gold Playland packed with kids programming. Check back soon for a full list of kids and family activities!

All ages are welcome! Children 12 and under are free with a parent or guardian.

We highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance for the fastest entry into the event. Tickets will be sold at the entrances at an increased price, and you can expect ticket purchase lines.

No. All sales are final and there will be no refunds. St. Pat’s in Five Points is a rain or shine event.

All lost and found items should be brought to the festival Information Tent. Items are held for 14 days after the festival. Contact [email protected] regarding any lost/found items. Locate the Information Tent location on the official festival map.

If you or a friend needs medical/emergency assistance or if you see someone who looks like they need help, please go to the medical services area located at the corner of 700 Harden Street and Santee Avenue. Look for Columbia Police, EMS, yellow-jacket security personnel, festival staff members, or anyone with a radio to assist you.‍

Locate the Information Tent location on the official festival map.

Yes. There will be ADA accessible viewing areas located at all stages within the festival. These will be marked with signage, as well as noted on our festival map.

ADA parking will be available inside the former Wells Fargo lot located at 705 Saluda Avenue. All patrons will need to follow the following route: From Blossom Street, turn left on Pickens Street. Take a right on Greene Street, then right on Laurens Street and back down to Blossom Street. Proper identification will need to be displayed for patrons to access the lot.

St. Pat’s in Five Points is a rain-or-shine event, so all tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. Any festival delay due to inclement weather will be communicated via our website, social channels, and app with as much advance notice as possible.

St. Pat’s in Five Points is a clear bag only event. Please be aware that all bags will be subject to search upon entry. Be sure to check the Clear Bag Policy below for more detailed information.

No, this is a cashless event.

St. Pat’s in Five Points operates on a NO PET POLICY. We do love our furry friends but appreciate your consideration and cooperation in making this event as successful and fun for everyone as possible by leaving your pets at home.

The best option for parking is to park at the State Fairgrounds and ride the free Comet shuttle. Also, consider taking an Uber or Taxi. For more information, check out our parking page.

Band and Festival Merchandise will be available to purchase inside the festival footprint. Please locate the merchandise tent on the official festival map. Festival Merchandise will be available for purchase prior to the event at A Little Happy shop in Five Points.

Yes. EMPTY reusable water bottles (plastic or aluminum) are permitted inside the festival. Water stations are located throughout the festival for your hydration needs.

Clear Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment and more expedited entry for festival attendees, St. Pat’s in Five Points has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the festival footprint.

Approved Bags

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ 
  • A clear bag shall be clear from top-to-bottom and up to a 2″ trim/border on the bag is generally acceptable.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ — approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap
  • Medically necessary items 
  • Clear diaper bags
  • Clear fanny packs

Prohibited Bags include, but are not limited to:

  • Purses larger than a clutch bag
  • Briefcases
  • Backpacks
  • Cinch/Drawstring bags
  • Luggage of any kind
  • Computer bags
  • Binocular cases
  • Camera bags

Camera Policy

Due to contracts with the artists performing at St. Pat’s in Five Points, professional recording equipment (photography, video and/or sound) will not be permitted at the festival without proper media credentials.

Photo and A/V Recording Consent

You may be photographed, filmed and/or recorded while attending St. Pat’s in Five Points. Video, image and/or audio recording of this event may be used by the Five Points Association and others in a variety of formats including, but not limited to, promoting St. Pat’s in Five Points. By purchasing a ticket and entering the festival, you consent to release the Five Points Association, their officers, directors, representatives, staff, employees and contractors from liability for violation of any personal or property rights regarding the publication of those recordings.

NO pets (with the exception of service animals)

NO musical equipment/instruments
NO fireworks/paper lanterns
NO drones, remote control aircraft, cars or toys
NO coolers
NO promotional items/flyers

These items are allowed into the St. Pat’s in Five Points festival:

YES sunblock (non-aerosol)
YES empty refillable water bottles
YES baby food/formula (no glass)
YES food for medical purposes

YES hand sanitizer and baby wipes
YES baby strollers and wagons with accompanying child

ENTRY & RE-ENTRY PROCEDURE

Patrons will NOT be allowed exit and re-entry privileges. Entrance into the entertainment area is controlled by security, festival, and ticketing personnel. All entrants are subject to pat down, wanding, and bag search upon entering the festival footprint. St. Pat’s in Five Points reserves the right to search all people and property to ensure the security of all attendees.

Adults/Guardians can receive a one-time re-entry into the festival at the Family Gate located at Andy’s Deli only. Available to parents and/or guardians. Each parent/guardian must have their family gate wristband put on in the Pot O’Gold Playland by our volunteers. No wristbands will be handed to patrons.

ALCOHOL RULES

NO UNDERAGE DRINKING IS PERMITTED. ALL LAWS WILL BE ENFORCED. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS ARE PERMITTED.

Over 21 ID wristbands will be available upon entering the festival at a designated location. Please have your ID available at all times. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY. No one will be allowed to enter the festival if they are intoxicated or pose a threat to themselves or others. Persons found to be intoxicated in the festival footprint will be escorted out without refund.

LOST CHILD STATIONS

There is a Lost Child Station at the karaoke stage located inside the Pot O’Gold Playland inside the festival grounds. The station will be shown on our official festival map.

ADDITIONAL RULES

NO unapproved vending including the sale or re-sale of alcoholic beverages. NO fighting or threatening behavior: any person found fighting will be evicted from the festival without a refund. NO disorderly or disruptive behavior. Any person found to be in possession of a weapon will be subject to a criminal investigation and immediately evicted from the event without refund. Any attempt to enter with prohibited items is subject to confiscation and will be asked to leave. Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or inflict damage to people and goods are prohibited.
